Celebrate National Dog Day At Tradition Brewing Company





Calling all pups and their humans! We partnered with our good friends at Tradition Brewing Company to bring you and your pups a tail-wagging good time at our doggie happy hour to celebrate national dog day!

Bring your four-legged best friend and enjoy: Complimentary dog treats & fresh water stations Cold craft beer for the humans Pet games Meet adoptable dogs from Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter A chance to meet fellow dog lovers and make new friends Flame and Pir Mobile Pizza

We're also hosting a pet supply donation drive for the Peninsula Pet Pantry to help local animals in need! Bring donations of unopened dog or cat food, treats, toys, leashes, collars, blankets, towels, or cleaning supplies. Every donation helps support our rescue partner and the animals in their care.

Whether your dog loves making friends or just enjoys relaxing by your side while you sip a pint, Doggie Happy Hour is the perfect way to spend the evening together while giving back to pets in our community.

Date: Wednesday, August 26th Time: 4-6pm

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.

Bark in the Park Sunday, August 23rd 1pm


Join us for Bark in the Park with the Norfolk Tides on Sunday, August 23 - doors open at 12:00PM! Bring your best four-legged friend to Harbor Park, cheer on the Tides, and help support Reba’s Animal Rescue - every $5 dog ticket is donated directly to Reba’s. Dog-friendly seating is available in Sections 215–223 on the third-base side near the Picnic/3B entrance. Human tickets are $17 in advance or $20 on game day, and dog tickets are just $5. Pet Rescues Wanted!


 

I am currently organizing three upcoming pet-focused events here on the Peninsula, and I would love to invite your rescue organization to join us as a vendor! 🐾

 

All three events are completely free for pet rescues and offer incredible opportunities to showcase adoptable animals, accept donations, and connect with local pet lovers.

 

1- 🐾 Buckroe Beach Pet Day > Saturday, Sept 26 | 9 AM – 3 PM

1st Street Hampton

📍 Alongside the Farmers Market 

🎟 FREE for Pet Rescues! 

2- Yorktown's Paws at the River > Saturday, Oct 24 | 9 AM – 3 PM

Historic Yorktown Waterfront - Alongside the Farmers Market - this is a PET RESCUE ONLY EVENT

3- 🎃 Howl-O-Woof > Sunday, Oct 25 | 12 PM – 3 PM

📍 Oozlefinch Craft Brewery, Fort Monroe - Alongside the Harvest Market

🎟 FREE for Pet Rescues!

 

Reminder: For all events, rescues must bring their own 12x12 canopy (secured with weights and stakes), tables, chairs, and water for the animals.

Pints and Paws 5K!


Online Registration Closes Midnight Tues, Sept. 1st at Midnight.
